Down one of York’s medieval snickelways off Stonegate, TASCA York is a low-lit, candle-warmed room built for long, unhurried evenings. Flame-grilled plates, salt cod and Douro reds, served without fuss.
The bar pours late and the kitchen leans into whatever the market gave us that morning — a little corner of Lisbon in the heart of the old city.
